Dr. Kamen Kutzarov is a board-certified, fellowship-trained foot and ankle orthopedic surgeon at Texas Orthopedics.
Dr. Kutzarov earned his undergraduate degree in Human Biology from the University of California San Diego. He completed his medical degree at FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. He then completed his fellowship training in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. During his fellowship, he gained experience treating complex post-traumatic fractures as well as degenerative conditions of the forefoot, midfoot, hindfoot and ankle. He was trained extensively in arthroscopic ankle procedures, total ankle replacements as well as ligament and tendon reconstructions.
He is a member and active participant in the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (AOFAS) and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS).
