Exciting Practice Update!
We are excited to announce the upcoming relocation of our Cedar Park office to our new Leander location at Pointe 183, which will be completed in early 2025. Until this new location is ready, our physicians will continue to provide you with comprehensive care out of our other existing locations as our Cedar Park office located at 1401 Medical Parkway B, Ste 120 will be closed effective October 30, 2024. J.P. Rodriguez, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine physician, specializing in arthroscopy and biologic treatments. During his Fellowship training under Dr. James Andrews, Dr. Rodriguez treated some of the best athletes in the world, including players from the NHL, NFL, NBA, and MLB. He has extensive training in the treatment of “Tommy John” injuries (Ulnar Collateral Ligament Reconstruction) and youth injury prevention.

He was selected for the prestigious Herodicus Society traveling fellowship as one of the most promising young surgeons in the country. Dr. Rodriguez currently volunteers his time as the team physician for Cedar Park High School and formally for the Texas Stars hockey team.
Dr. Rodriguez has been recognized by his peers as an Austin Monthly Top Doctor in 2021 and a Texas Monthly Super Doctors Rising Star from 2021-2024.
Dr. J.P. Rodriguez is an active member of the teaching faculty of Dell Medical School’s Orthopaedic Surgery Residency Program where he is working to advance the field of musculoskeletal care and training the next generation of physicians and surgeons. Learn more.

Meet Kirstin Harrell, MSPA, PA-C
Physician Assistant for Dr. Rodriguez
Kirstin B. Harrell, MSPA, PA-C is a Physician Assistant board certified by the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners. She attended Virginia Tech for her bachelor degree in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise and attended Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, VA for her Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. She grew up in Virginia and attended Virginia Ballet Theatre and Governor’s School for the Arts for high school where she was a pre-professional ballet student. Upon completion of her Master’s program and certification as a Physician Assistant in 2011, she moved to Austin, TX where she began her career in Orthopedics with a hand and upper extremity surgeon. Kirstin brings with her over 10 years of experience working as a Physician Assistant. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and her dog, volunteering with The Junior League of Austin, reading, and traveling.
Meet Victoria (Tori) LaBrie, MA, LAT, ATC
Athletic Trainer for Dr. Rodriguez
Tori LaBrie graduated from Whitworth University, where she studied Athletic Training while playing volleyball. After graduation, she became a graduate assistant athletic trainer at University of Nebraska Omaha while receiving her Masters in Exercise Science. While at Omaha, she had direct oversite of the softball, soccer, swim and dive programs. Tori also assisted in coverage of hockey, basketball, and volleyball as needed. Having a long time interest in athletics and sports medicine, Tori thrived being able to combine her two passions at the college level. After graduating, she went on to be the athletic trainer at Texas A&M, working primarily with their men’s and women’s swim and dive program. She then became the athletic trainer at St. Edward’s University in Austin, working with the baseball and women’s soccer and golf programs.
In the Spring of 2021, Tori joined Dr. Rodriguez’s team as an athletic trainer involved in day to day clinic functions, surgery and the rehab process for patients. Tori also acts as a liaison for local high school athletic trainers and athletes of all levels. Her goal is to help create a great sports medicine line of care for their patients. She brings an array of expertise in the orthopedics and sports medicine field to the practice, as she shares the same drive and passion caring for patients and athletes. Tori says, “Athletic training allows me to combine my passions, helping people prevent injury, and get back to their desired level of activity after injury or surgery.”
