Texas Orthopedics is excited to announce the arrival of Dr. Kamen Kutzarov! Dr. Kutzarov is a board-eligible fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in injuries and deformities of the foot and ankle.
He joins our expert team of foot and ankle specialists including orthopedic surgeons Dr. Brannan Smoot and Dr. Kristopher Stockton, and podiatrist Dr. Joseph Snowden. Dr. Kutzarov will treat those affected by:
- Foot and ankle fractures, deformity and degenerative arthritis

- Flatfoot reconstruction

- Achilles ruptures

Dr. Kutzarov attended University of California San Diego where he graduated with a degree in Human Biology. He then went on to attend FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine where he received his medical degree. He fulfilled his orthopedic residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey before coming to Texas to complete his foot and ankle fellowship at University of Texas Houston.
Dr. Kutzarov has special interest and experience in treating complex post-traumatic fractures as well as chronic conditions of the forefoot, midfoot, hindfoot and ankle. He will treat patients at our South Austin and Kyle locations.
